My main display has been up and running for over a year now and I decided to purchase a Green BTA. Dripped acclimated for over 1.5 hours. Placed him, and of course he tumbled and moved around to a spot where he took hold. At the bottom, under an overhang. But he will inflate out to reach the lights.
So I put him in a week ago. Now me not being any expert in anemones as this is my first one, I am wondering if deflating and inflating throughout the day are normal acclimation for one? I can see it's mouth sometimes, but it's not gaping and it doesn't happen all the time. He has no signs of damage and not losing color. The only thing is a inflate deflate period throughout the day. Is this normal?
Thanks!
My Parameters:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: >10ppm
Phosphate: 0.05ppm
PH: 8.3
Alk: 8.5
Calcium: 420ppm
Salinity: 1.026
Temp: 78.5F
