new bubble tip anemone might be dead

bought a new bubble tip was doing fine for 2 days, even today looked fine in about am hours time shrunk up and looks to be dying

Doesn’t look like it’s dying. BTA’s sometimes do this during the day. Could be digesting and pooping...

You might be overreacting - it doesnt look that different than the first picture. Anemones shrink and get bigger for no apparent reason. I would keep watching - without doing anything

ok it's still moving on it's own when I turn off powerheads and pumps it's my first anemone and dont want to nuke my tank

Yup. It’s fine. They inflate and deflate. As long as the mouth isn’t turned inside out. When you see that. Then start to worry.

Looks normal. Get used to it inflating, deflating, bubbling up, going stringy, and hiding. Normal BTA behavior.
