Hi everyone I have purchased a new bubble tip anemone and it was fine yesterday when I bought it,it seems to of receded in to a hole in my rock? Will it be able to get out on its own? Or is it done for, this morning it looked amazing! All my other sps corals and lps look awesome. I'm scared it won't come back out? Any advice greatly appreciated

Bubble tips are able to move on their own so if it hid in a hole something may have scared it. It will eventually come back out unless it decides that it wants to live there.

Bubble tips don't get frightened. They simply sense water conditions and relocate to an area of the tank that is more suited for their needs.

1. How old is your tank?
2. What kind of lights do you have?
3. Do you run power heads?
4. Do you have a sump?
5. What are your latest water test numbers and how old are they?

You're good. Anenomes take time to adjust into a new environment and hiding is fine. They can literally move through a crack in a rock. It can get out of an open hole.

How can you say that with the information provided?

We need to determine if there is proper lighting, flow and that general water chemistry is in order.

Agree with above that more details are needed. Either way don't try and move it. They will go where they want.

Because this is the only question that was actually asked.

Will it be able to get out on its own?

So that is the question I answered. Do you have a difference of opinion that a bubble tip may get stuck in a hole it moved itself into and not be able to get out?

You make a fair point.

But the OP is a noob, so, we should try to educate them for success.

We should also do our research.

I went to the OP's history back to March when they stated They bought the tank second hand and it had already been up and running for a year.

That piece of info along with their SPS corals doing awesome, I gave the answer I did.

Op has posted multiple help with my anenome threads where it looked like they were educated previously.

You don't decide this. The anemone does.
I am more worried if it is wild or tank born.

Allow it to remain. Likelihood why it did that is an issue with light and flow. If flow is too strong and light too bright, it will go for cover why it likely went into hole. Drop a tiny piece of food such as mysis shrimp and it may work its way out to seek more.
You can also lower light and it may cause anemone to come out seeking additional light which it needs to produce its zooxanthellae

Hello there, in my opinion when it gets to a bad place I always use my long tube to blow its bottom to let it come off on its own.

If they're hiding it's for a reason. Stressing them out more won't help.

Yeah I mean it is good to keep everything natural but sometimes we need to correct the position. ;) Sometimes they are stupid anemones.

Or we don't recognize something isn't right. ;)
