New Build! 1100g Shark/Ray/Eel Tank

New Rays Arrived!

I didn’t get much done in the stand this week. The company polishing the concrete floor messed up and it has to be redone. URG!

Three new Kuhlii rays arrived this week. I set up a temporary 300g tub to try to get them eating. Always a stressful time for me and the rays. Not always easy to get them to eat.

Also is a picture of my two banana eels and the female epaulette waiting for their new tank. :)

Awesome so far! I’ll be following along, can’t wait for the next update!

Well it took forever for the floor contractors to finish polishing the floors, but they finally finished last week.

So my son and I assembled the stand and last weekend we moved the tank. Fortunately the tank fit perfectly on the new stand.

Next step is to get it polished. Polishing supposed to start this week but with the holidays I am not sure. And I will soon be working on the lights and building the filtration. Honestly at this point I am just happy to get the tank out and on my stand without any mishaps. I also need to rebuild an overflow.

Looks great!!!
You going to run Ozone on this system?

I'd love to see an update on this! There are tons of gorgious rays other there and not many build those types of tanks, BIG. This is a rare build.
