Curious as to why your fudge is before your skimmer. Most commercial made sumps have it after, just before the return chamber.

The display is drilled but only has 1” bulkheads on the left side. Because the pump needs to get through about 10’ of head I chose the maxspect jump 12k which requires 1 1/2” pipe for max flow. There isn’t enough room to put the larger holes in the tank required, I would end up having to cut off the bottom brace section to fit the bulkhead and trim the rest off. So I thought yeah I’ll just drill out the other side, but after looking at getting the diamond bit, bulkhead fitting, and corner overflow to hide the pipe I don’t think it’s really worth the cost or lost real estate. Also with the 1” pipes set as drains I can switch from durso to herbie. I have most of the things I drew up. I have both tanks, the sump is already set up like I drew it aside from the sock mount.

Two 120 black boxes, the light diagram is how I am going to set it up over the 120, they are currently over a 55. Been running 4 t5’s for years but got a good deal on the led’s and knew I would need more light than the t5’s I had could do alone.

You do not need a pump in your RO barrel

I would change your ball valve to a gate valve for you full siphon drain.

Kind of surprised not more people are responding to this, it’s an open opportunity to s*** talk on the internet. Let me have it
The blueprints for the tank I can’t fault, the use of the ruler you have used tho.......

I know it looks bad but I just wanted to get everything on paper so I wouldn’t forget anything when it came time to put it together. Did forget to put in my ato set up but that’s probably just going to be hooked right up to the rodi barrel.

Anyone know how to make the rodi unit only produce when the barrel is at 25% capacity or less so it’s not constantly going on and off? Stoney (Ryan) from brs said when it turns on and off like that you get higher levels of tds at the initial start up than if you make larger amounts at once.

Use a high low controller for it.

I use a Buckeye Hydro controller that I modified with a delay timer to bypass the DI for the first 5 minutes to send the tds creep down the drain.
