I just got all for reef as well. How did you switch over? If I am dosing 6ml per day of alk, should I slowly start with 5 ml of 2 part and 1 ml of afr and just do that to switch over and monitor levels on the other way?

I used the tropic marin calculator to determine dose.

I didn’t 2 part dose prior. I started with AFR at the very beginning and slowly increased the dose from 1-2 ml a day (first couple of weeks) to their recommended level. I made some adjustments as my Ak eventually got a little higher than what I wanted.

UPDATE - added a few more corals. Noticed the head on my cotton candy torch is dying. Not sure why. I’ve had it for about month with no issue. Wondering if the larger torch behind it is killing it.

Beautiful tank! I have the same one! Look into random flow heads. I got the for mine and my corals love it!

Yep. I have a full current USA lighting setup with the LOOP system. Wave pumps and got their 550gph dc pump.
