Hello everyone,
Building a new system, tank is 60"x30"x24". I've built the stand and the sump area is 47"x27"x38". I have purchase a Tunze DOC 9415 for the skimmer. I'm looking for a larger sump (but leaving room for ATO and possible future reactors). I would like something with lids to prevent as much salt creep as possible. I like the look of the MRC 36" Bio-sump. Any suggestions? Trying not to do DIY this time

I do not like commercial sumps!

I think the best sump tank for that dimension is a 40 breeder. You can get larger 36 inch long tanks, but the are only larger in their height.

If you've built the stand, got a DIY bug, then I'd suggest building your own sump out of glass. Quite easy using silicone. And its alot easier to taylor it to your system.

if you dont wanna do the DIY thing...custom is the way to go. I dont really care for any of the on the shelf sumps. you should try looking into Elite Aquatics or synergy reef systems.

I'd have to throw a recommend to Rick at Synergy Reef Systems. Awesome gear, and he can build anything the two of you can dream up.
