I decided to go with a 14k Phoenix bulb this time. It has brought out new colors in my corals that I didn't see with my last bulb. Now to just sit back and watch my corals grow!

Harry I can't believe how much difference it has made my acros look! My tri color acro I got from you at the last swap is now actually tri color haha. And it has actually brought colors out in my acros that I didn't see with my kessil. Plus my German blue polyp monti I got about a month ago from you is still blue, not green like when I had the last one under the kessil.

Another example of how awesome halides are. I fraged this bonsai acro just a little over a week ago and its already growing a new polyp where it was fraged from the mother colony

I'm not sure why you didn't have good color with the Kessil. Most people are well satisfied with them from what I hear.

I can't explain it either Harry. I tried moving them closer, lower, in between. But still the acros would turn green after being in the tank for a few months. But it was only the acros and monti's that changed colors. The LPS and palys didn't change much. I did get ok growth, but not the color.
