Hi all,
About 10 days ago I moved from about an hour away to my new home. I had the luxury of being able to setup and cycle my tank prior to the move so it was ready to transfer all my livestock. I moved everything from a Coralife Biocube 32g.
On to the new tank....
Shipping was excellent, great packaging. Showed up on a pallet and right to my garage door.
It included:
•10mm low iron ultra clear glass with polished
•Dimensions: (30" x 18" x 18")
•16-gallon glass multi-chambered sump. dimensions are 20" x 13" x 13"
•Silent 660 GPH return pump
•1" Drain plumbing
•1/2" Return plumbing with Loc-Line return nozzle
•Rimless glass cover system
I’ve added:
*(1) AI Hydra 52HD Black
*(1) Ice Cap Gyre wave pump
The lack of directions was super annoying - I had no trouble figuring out the stand, but not being a plumbing expert (more like a plumbing idiot) I made a small mistake on my plumbing that I’ll have to live with for now, because it’s cemented in place.
Yes, I know it’s backwards. I’d like to explore suggestions on how to cut the pipe and start over, without removing the bulkhead.
Moving day
I loaded up everything in paint buckets from the bio cube - fish in one, inverts in one, and corals spread across 3 on rock, so they couldn’t bounce around.

My Alveopora has not been happy to say the least....

I hate the sump, it’s loud and awkward...I’ve ordered an Eshopps RS-75 and a Reef Octopus VarioS-2 Controllable DC Circulation Pump that arrive tonight, which should solve my loudness issues and splashing. More to come....
