I bought this anemone on Sunday. It looked fine Sunday night and Monday, but now it is small. Should I be concerned or is it still getting used to the new environment?

What are you parameters? WHat lighting are you using and how old is the tank?

Nitrates and phosphates and ammonia 0. All corals seem healthy. Temp 77, SG 1.025. I have the Red Sea Max E-260 so it has the Hydra 26s over it. Physical tank is around 3 months old but everything was moved from a tank which was over a year old.

Possibly still adapting, give him a little bit and see if he improves.

What kind of lights did it come from?

What is your current lighting schedule and intensity? (screenshot is fine)

How far above the tank are your lights hung?

Did you count your livestock? I had a maxi (not so) mini do this for two days after eating my mandarin...sigh

Below are pictures of the light schedules. The lights are about 8-10 inches above the water. I think I LFS has Current USA LED lights over the tanks which have the anemones but I can't remember exactly.

Has his mouth closed at all or has it been gaping like that the whole time? If not how long.

If it hasn't settled in and started to close up within 72 hours I would treat personally.

Since you had Cipro on hand you're probably already aware, but I'm going to toss this up here just for informational purposes. Carpets are generally the worst when it comes to shipping stress. It doesn't seem to matter if it's Cali to Texas or a 20 minute ride home from the LFS, they seem to go down hill the fastest. Good luck with treatment, keep us updated.

Sounds about right from what I could tell from the pictures @abecker The mouth seemed pretty seriously open.
