Hello R2R!

I recently picked up a chalice frag from the LFS unnamed which has been doing well since Friday. Well I put it in the bottom of my tank and sat it on a rock without any adhesive since I wanted to be able to quickly move it around if it turned south quick.

Today, it has feeders out and I have an urchin that I am worried is going to come by and pick it up and destroy it or God knows what with it...

Question... should I pull it out now and epoxy it to a few rocks or just ride it out and let it get more acclimated that just a few days vs. stressing it out now with the risk of letting it fall or tip over off the rock?

That's a nice echinophyllia. It looks good on the rock. A little coral glue will be able to keep in place but easy to break free if you need too.

So it wouldn’t be too much trouble to pull it out, put some adhesive on a couple pieces of smaller rock and put it back ?

Just so new to handling SPS, don’t want to kill it lol .
