I just bought a pair of cheekspot premium Picasso’s from my lfs. They were completely paired up even from the Breeder. When I put them into my system they both went to my mag anemone instantly. Good right;-) but the female is all over the male to the point she doesn’t want him in the nem! He’s even less st all his color due to being scared or trying to hide from her. These were pretty expensive and don’t want to kill one. Anybody have any idea’s for me? Please!!!!!!! I netted the female to give the male a rest. Idk

Are you sure they're male and female? What's the size difference?

The one that’s aggressive is just a tad bit bigger. So I’m not totally for sure. However they were ordered as a pair from pro aquatics!
Sometimes fish are labeled as a pair simply because you are buying two, not because they are actually bonded. I would keep them separated for a few days and let the smaller one establish itself, perhaps a social acclimation box would work in this situation.

Male is out colored up and eating. I don’t have another trap or tank to put the female in other than my sump and I’m afraid of doing that!

Ok so I pulled them out and put them in my frag tank. And they are back to getting along it has something to do with the anemone and territor. So not sure what I should do with them.
