I love clams so much. How well do these cuties handle T5? or is metal halide the only way to keep clams?

i have a maxima and a hippopus in my sandbed under 8x54 t5s in a 29" tall 105g and they are growing like weeds

All clams do great under T5's if you have individual reflectors. If you can keep sps you can keep clams.
