I bought a pair of black Picasso clown fish on Wednesday. They looked like they were settling in fine but then a couple days later the larger one began breathing heavily and stopped eating.... They were acclimated using a drip for nearly an hour.

There are no signs of any injury or any sickness that I can see. One of my tangs got black ich and I just started treating my tank with Prazipro. The other clown fish is doing great... I don't know what can be wrong with it or what I should do?? Should I try a freshwater dip??

Thanks,

This is a picture of it.

I would do a water change and get some oxygen in the tank. I am assuming because you dosing Prazi, you have your skimmer off. Your tank could be low on oxygen.

I was running my skimmer on for most of the time... I'm pretty sure it's not an oxygen lvl issue as the other 16 fish in my tank are not showing any difficulty breathing....

I did a 2 minute freshwater bath last night but still no change.... It's really a stunning fish (and expensive) and don't want to lose it.

Thanks,

Did you do a water change as a precautionary method? And FYI, in order for Prazipro to be effective, you need to turn off skimmers, carbon reactors, UV, etc.
