7 week old tank
Temp: 78-79
Ph: 7.8-7.9
No ammo, nitrate
Phosphate: 0.5
Nitrate: 4

3 days ago I went to the big box fish store, got these 2 juvenile clownfish. (The only inhabitants)

Upon further inspection, I see that the orange one has a spot on its side just ahead of the pectoral fin on the white stripe.

Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/jRdRp-2sK_Q?feature=share

I also noticed that it seems to hang out at the bottom more, breathes with mouth open more, was eating less, has a smaller dorsal fin, and a noticeably pale face. The video even looked like he scratched the sand.

I have treatments from my Discus like:
Melafix&pimafix
Paragard
General cure
Prazipro

would any of these be good? Paragard seems like it would help, no? Or should i be looking at copper or other treatments?

I cannot expand video due to the type of format but I do see aggression from the larger/darker clown which is likely a female and one that plays a hierarchy. They are often larger and dominant, will force a male to a corner, steal all the food and chase the male. Isolation is often needed with aggressive females and may or may not change behavior of female. Its possible its a bite or injury from female but need a clearer video or pics under white lighting to clearly identify

Can tell you regarding meds:
I have treatments from my Discus like:
Melafix&pimafix - These are from TeaTree oils and uselkess tonics in marine setting
Paragard - Rarely if ever works
General cure - helpful with certain sysmptoms
Prazipro - ideal for flukes and worms

Thank you- Looks like small injury and nothing that raises need for treatment. Do keep an eye on it to assure healing and not getting infected

Thank you, They were divided by glass for at the store for 2 days and didnt fight in the bag, but they had a 2 minute war when i first put them in the tank and it would make sense that its just an injury. I will keep a close eye and update with any changes. Appreciate the help
