Yeah I'm guessing the captive bred ones aren't as inclined to give a flip about an anemone, lol. But a girl can wish!Sometimes clownfish pick it up right away - other times it can take months (or longer). But once they do, it's like shag carpet for them - and good luck separating them from their newfound love.

Almost all clownfish are captive bred which is why they sometimes take a while to figure it out. I had a pair that figured it out almost as soon as I introduced anemones to the tank (they unfortunately harassed 2 of them to death, so I try to add larger ones now).Yeah I'm guessing the captive bred ones aren't as inclined to give a flip about an anemone, lol. I think I'll start feeding directly above the nem and see if they get used to being near it for food. Worth a little extra effort if it works! Even if they never want to love on the nem, it's still pretty to look at.Almost all clownfish are captive bred which is why they sometimes take a while to figure it out.
