New Computer wont connect to P4 or LX7

ok so i got a new computer and i entered my device with the IP addresses i gave them but they still will not connect. any idea why?

do i need to disconnect all my deviced and connect via USB again? i sure hope not

Can you ping the P4 from a command prompt?

Can you http to the IP address of the P4?

i can ping all devices
i can http but not sure the password

Same WIFI ssid for new computer and LX7, P4?
I found out trying to delete the existing device in GCC (administration) and create a new one may help. Also check the port in GCC's admin, mine won't connect to LX7 using WIFI if I changed the port to something else. Leave the port as default as 10001.

Yes the new computer is a wired PC so no ssid. I have port as default. I was unable to connect to the lx7s but after a while i was able to connect. I can also connect to the P4 via myghl website. Just not directly on my lan. Also i was never able to connect using my iphone app.

@techhnyne I am concerned that the app not connecting to your device wireless. That is straight wireless to wireless. You phone is joined to the same SSID, and the app does not work? Did you upgrade the firmware and wirelss firmware for the app to work?

What is the Operating System are you using to connect on your PC? This PC is the same you used to connect via USB to begin with also?

I am running windows 10 my mobile app does not connect either does my PC
all devices connected to the same ssid and all can be pinged. the new computer is not the same computer i connected with at first to set up P4

The computer you used to connect via USB was the same version of GCC software that now on your PC also?

What version of software is on your desktop?

If it the latest version did you do the firmware upgrades?

yes everything was the same version on the 2 computers and the firmare on the P4 says 7.08

I guess I can always take the controller off the tank and bring it to the computer but I really would like to figure out how to do it without incase ever happens again

Was the wireless firmware also at 6512 on the controller?

You can see this also by http to the p4.

The default username is admin and I pm you the default password and you should see the wireless firmware on the bottom of the page.

ok sweet i got in with the admin and password and the network settings are just as i expected them to be

Ok for the app to work your wifi needs to be updated. Did you upgrade the firmware to 7.08 when you received your device or did it come with 7.08?

On my thread on page 6 is how to update the wifi module

Let's get that upgraded first that should fix your app and maybe your access via ip.

i already updated it i can get in with gcc thasnk you!
Though the app still doesnt work

Whooohoo that great so we have the gcc working and glad to help.

Was gcc connected when you tried the app?

If it was open can you disconnect from the desktop gcc application and then try the app and tell me does it connect.

Is this iOS or android?
