I'm practicing a new method i was reading on a thread here and had a concern. I put an air stone in my sump together with the return for a higher o2 in the water to help my ph and lower my nitrates and such. So I've read, but I'm getting a big bubble in my u tube on the hob overflow box. My concern is that I've been keeping my bubbles on from 8 : 30 pm until 4 : 30 am. is my suction going to stop due to the big air bubble?

That would be a consern. I haven't heard from people using a hob mine is drilled.

I have a 55 gallon glass. That's completely tempered so i can drill any part of it. .[emoji20]
