I recently got a copperband butterfly. naturally i am a bit worried he wont make it. so far he hasnt been harassed much at all...and he is eating pretty good. Eating all different kinds of things but now that I got masstick and mix misc ingredients in he is chowing down. anyone else use this masstick? so far I think its great! I mixed fish eggs baby brine a little pellet food and some dried bloodworms in with mostly selcon instead of water. now most of the fish are pecking at it or chasing bits that fly loose. The cool thing about it is you can put it at different ends or in diff places to keep them occupied. my hope was this would both curb some possible aggression espec with the new copperband ( and new yellow tang) as well as entice the copperband who is a slow picker to eat. so far so good. to anyone who has never tried masstick I would recommend it..its a bit expensive..but not if you mix in some ingredients...would love to hear from others on this.

I mix it with various frozen foods that have been "slumped" and drained of excess liquid. Fish like it a lot.

My fish love it. I mix large batches and freeze it. Before freezing I scrape it onto either the cheap magnetic frag plugs that go on your glass or pieces of textured plastic I can clip into my nori clip. I love putting one on the glass when people are over so all the fish come right up to the glass and put on a nice show:)

best food for copperbands imo, mine loves it
