So I yesterday I got Coral banded shrimp and put him in my tank. He is doing well. But after talking to a few People I heard that shrimp might eat my fishes I have. 4 clownfishes 2 yellow tail damsels and blue tang. Is this true? Should I give him away ?

I been feeding him some piece of shrimp and he seems to like it. I heard that keeping him full is the way to keep him from eating your fish. But I’m still worried.

I've had 2 coral banded shrimp over 5 years or so and they can't possibly catch a fish. They may lunge for them if they get too close, but that's more about protecting their space and defending themselves.

The consensus of everyone who has seen this photo on R2R has been that the Talbot must already have been dead, and not caught alive. However it was in a small 7 gallon nano— so ‘night fishing?’ Keep your Coral Banded— you will love him. You’ll know he’s doing well if he molts every month or two.

Ok thank you. Was he cleaning your fish ? I heard that they may also do that?

I've never really seen a fish sit still for that (at least with a Coral Banded, as opposed to-- obviously-- a "Cleaner Shrimp.") Like someone else mentioned, they kind of aggressively lunge at fish, and that is the fish's clue to leave. Lol.
