New coral fell off its plug?

I was super psyched today to pick up my first corals for my tank! [emoji16] Of course now that I'm home I already have a question. [emoji23]

One of the corals (a zoa) has come off its plug on the way home. What should I do?

Most of the time I pop corals off the plug.

I wouldn't worry about it and just place them in a secure place in the tank.

You'll be happy it fell off. Plugs look silly.

try to put it somewhere secure. The less it gets moved the faster it will acclimate and grow. Depending on what was on the plug...I would start lower in the tank.

I usually remove the corals from their plugs so that I can glue them directly to the rock.

A lot if people discard the plug and either put on a new one or glue the coral directly on to the rock. Fear if hitch hikers

just had this happen with a stereonephthya. I'm going to try placing directly in tank but I fear it will just be blown around. I have little dead space for flow.
