New Coral - how to place? Break disc?

I bought this big disc with mushrooms on it and now that it is in the tank I can't seem to find anywhere that makes sense.

One of the mushrooms fell off and I placed it on this rock and it seems happy so far.

I'm not sure how these are supposed to grow together or if they are supposed to stay on the disc? Do these discs cut/break easily? Maybe I can break them all off the disc and place them up on that rock with the other one...

My tank is so small - here is the full shot for reference.

I'ts murky - I just did a water change.

Any thoughts/ideas appreciated!

The mushrooms will reproduce by detaching them Selves from the existing foot .
if given enough time they might move and take over other places

Am I understanding correctly - I should just leave it be and wait for them to move somewhere they want to go?

Just leave the disk be, sanbed is a perfect spot for mushrooms to start off.

You can remove them, but run the risk of damaging them if it's your first time, and not familiar with the process.

They will reproduce, and walk away on their own. Pretty soon if your reef parameters are favorable, you'll have more green mushrooms then you'll know what to do with.

use an old screw driver and pry each little piece of rock off the disc..then place 'em where u want
