So I have had the 29 gal nano up and going now for a few month and I am finally happy enough with it to start adding some corals. This will be my first corals so I truly am excited for them to get here. I was unsure exactly what to buy because like I said these are my first. So what I did was go to World Wide Corals and buy one of the mystery zoa packs. 5 randoms so it will be a surprise to me when they get here, my wife also bought a Froot Loops micro goniopora for herself. My question is how exactly do I go about acclimating them for my tank? I don't want to mess them up by rushing after i have paced myself for this long. Also what coral dip would you guys suggest.. I've been told CoralRx and Revive are best but I need more feedback. All help will be appreciated guys. Thanks

I am running a NANOBOX Duo plus... and it is 100% adjustable. Lol, why do you ask?
Acclimating your corals to your lights is just as (if not more) important as acclimating them to your water. I wouldn't recommend it, but I've been in a hurry and only temperature acclimated coral before getting them in the tank. There are many different techniques to acclimate corals, some people use the drip method over a couple of hours and some (myself included) add a small amount of tank water to the acclimation container every 15 minutes or so. It's really up to you how meticulous you want to be. What yo use for dipping is also personal preference. I've used Bayer insecticide without any ill effects, but there are many who advise against it. Ha ha, it's all a game of which you like more and what works best for you.
