new coral what is this

i jus5 got a hammer coral and found this on the side. please let me know wha5 you think right now I have it in a different tank.

Looks a bit like a tunicate. Put it in the tank. Take a picture of it in the tank after a couple of days and we might be able to give a better guess.

Not a tunicate (whatever this is has polyps all over); I'd guess something like a finger leather at this point but tough to tell from the images. Take one in tank in a few days when it starts to open.

I agree, possible tunicate. I'm not seeing polyps on it.

Tunicate for certain. This is good and it is looking good. It's always nice when we get a positive hitchhiker on frags.
