Hey guys just recently picked up a few pieces earlier all acclimated for little over an hour and just put them in the tank. The 2 pieces I was very unsure about will be below. Any info would be great! The 2nd image isn't out yet but when it is it looks really grassy. Thanks guys !

Top one is a Sarcophyton spp, or toadstool leather coral. The bottom one I forget the genus but common name is green star polyps. Both are easy to care for, the leather will release chemicals into the water if stressed or if another gets too close, but if you run carbon it will be nothing to worry about :) also, you may want to isolate the star polyps as they can overgrown rocks quite quickly.

The green star polyps isn't out at all and the rest are actually starting to come out if not decently out already. What's the time frame usually to start opening up ? They were added about 2 hours ago

You'll notice that corals can take some time to open up after moving between systems, even more so after shipping. I wouldn't worry about either of those even if they didn't start opening until tomorrow. But it should be sooner than that, a few hours probably. The leather might take longer. I've had zoas and palys take a couple weeks to open, so don't worry about it.

Only a suggestion place the goniopora you have up on the rock
Down on the sand bed but over a plate rock not direct on the sand
They like to be near the corner generally

:) I've had a tyree toadstool close up for almost a month before it's polyps emerged again. I've found most corals are open by the next light period (recover at night and open tomorrow type thing) but some may only open halfway etc. just be patient. If everything else is fine, your coral is just mad.
My brother had a regular toadstool that got shook up in the car on the way to his house and opened immediately. Some people have all the luck lol

Have they opened up yet today?
