Just added these 4 to my tank. (First ones obviously) have a yellow leather in front and zoas on the left and right of that. Also have green star polyps in the back left. Any thoughts on placement and so on woulf be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Not a bad idea. I kind of planned on getting rid of it though once all the corals were biggwr
Exactly.

I’ve been saying that about my gsp for years. Lol.

On the Leather , make sure it’s got pretty strong flow. They like to shed.

I meant getting rid of the castle. Lol. Although I guess the gsp will eventually cover the whole thing so don't even look like one. I actually just moved it so thanks for the idea! Lol. How long they usually take to open. The leather opened within 20 min in the tank and so did the zoas. Not the gsp though

That’s funny, usually the leather is the grumpy one.

So honestly, no idea. If it’s past a few days , then I’d try moving it.

You may want to run your activated carbon a little more aggressively, like on the return pump, as the Leather will give off a little coral warfare toxin. But everything will adjust to it.

Ahhh ok. Yea he opened up quick. Moved him around a few times and he closed but opened back up fairly quick. I like where I have him now so I glued him there. I have the one zoa on the same rock as the leather that shouldn't take it over correct? I'm assuming they don't take over like the gsp would

Thanks for the input! Appriciate it! Im new to the hobby so trying to learn as much as i can. Just been reading alot online and watching videos so I am kind of going by that

Hahaha. First day I got him I woke up next morning looked in the tank and he was floating at the surface. I was mad like how did he die! Here to find out if they don't have a coral to host that is how they sleep. Freaked me out for sure lol

Mine now always found a corner of the tank near the top.

They like the nem now though.

It’s easier to jump out and bite me.

What is a good schedule for feeding? Once a week, twice a week? Not 100% sure. On the food I have it says 3 times a week to start but seems like alot to me

I feed the fish daily. Just enough that they eat it all. Probably not needed but...

I also rottate the kind of food too. Pellets , eggs, meaty food , etc.
