Just wondering if I should use a dip on new corals when introducing to tank. Whats best for macro algae?

I highly recommend dipping corals in Coral RX or Revive. Some even QT corals before putting them into the display.

Not necessarily true, but there is a trick to some of the more sensitive corals like SPS.

I dip all my new corals in an iodine bath like Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure before introducing them into my tank. Understandably I get a bit paranoid about introducing things like flatworms into my display tanks and I find that it helps prevent/cure any issues from rough handling during transport.
