Ok guys and gals, I found a new critter in my tank this afternoon. Haven't the slightest clue what it is or how to explain it. The closest I can come is a tiny jellyfish? It swims like a jelly but is not strong enough to fight the current in the tank. My example of the way it swims is the movie Avatar, the soul seeds from the tree Aywa that land on the guy, well it swims like that but it is pale pink. It's probably about the size of the ball point of an ink pen. Any ideas?

It's a hydroid. They are common in new tanks and typically disappear on their own.
Thank you for responding! My tank is not new though. This one has been up for a year. Maybe it survived the coral dip from my new corals? But as long as it isn't bad I'm ok with him being there.

Hydroids appear as hitchhiker or entered even during acclimation within bag water when a new specimen is introduced
