I picked up a diamond goby the other day at my LFS. It’s currently in my QT. My problem is he hides all day behind my foam filter. I haven’t seen him eat much despite putting lots of food in there. I have 2 containers of sand that I used for my wrasses but he never goes near them. I ended up emptying the one container of sand into the corner to hopefully entice him but nothing.
At the store he was moving crazy amounts of sand by sifting it all over the tank. Not sure what to do. I don’t want to just drop him in my DT since sits establiahed and end up having a sick fish. No signs of any injuries and I haven’t dosed anything into the QT. There might be a trace amount of copper (.10 ppm) but that’s it. Any help would be appreciated.
