First time using dosing pumps and will be setting up a couple of Kamoer X1 pumps. Doesn't really address this in the calibration instructions, but do the dosing lines need to already be cut to working lengths for my tank for correct calibration? Also do they need to be at the height they will be used at and should I use the fluid I'll be pumping or will simple RO water be sufficient for calibration? Don't want to overthink this but do want to do it correctly. Thanks for any advice.

The closer to the eventual working conditions, the more accurate the calibration will be. I just set mine up and then took the line out of the sump and in a container for the calibration.
