New duncan not opening.

I got a frag of Duncan and is been 2 weeks and it won't open. I moved it 2 days ago to another rock and still is close. Heres the pics. The first pic is where i had it first,the second pic is where i have it right now. My other corals are open and doing good.

I may not be happy where you placed it...put it on the sand bed and let it be for a few days...might not like the lights or the flow. I tried about 6 different spots in my tank for my Duncan until I found a spot it likes

How many days should i wait before moving it?

I’d say 2-3 days only because hes been ticked for 2 weeks already

Duncan have been very finicky for me but hard to kill. Mine threw a hissy fit for a month straight then immediately popped out 4 new heads the week it opened back up, no idea why. But since this is a new frag, I’d try to move it to moderate light and low flow just to see if that makes it happier

What’s odd about my Duncan is it’s never happy in lower light, it’s gets hit with 280 par all day and grown like a weed since I moved it 2 months ago (don’t put it in that kind of PAR right away)

Same here, my Duncan is at the tippy top of my tank. But I did light acclimate him up there. Sprouted a new head every week before the clowns decided that he was their new home and make him upset.
