Picked these up today from the local store. Never seen em before and i havent seen anything on zoaid. Perhaps someone here has an idea! Hers is a shot. They color is very nice in the fact that its a very light pink which i would call dusty rose. The mouth has the slightest tinge of green/powder blue. I'm really hoping to pull some color from these guys under the t5's. Got a frag with 4 polyps.

No no need. i was just wondering. What bulb combo do u use?

Looks similar to these?

:) I think I need to visit your tank and Rik's. He's been slacking on my creamsicles.

Geisieman actinics, then Korallen coral lights and fiji purple. I'll show you a full frag shot. The rock its on is extremely dark purple from coraline. I placed a white disk next to it for comparison. They are just that color. Same settings, same place i took the other pics from.

Nah, they dont look anything like those. They are very nice by the way.
Here is one with flash. Totally dusty rose color.

I think you identified them Marvin, thanks! We'll have to wait a month or so and see how they fill in under good lighting.

put them up higher in the light and they will get more yellow/pink as well. Typical zoanthus gigantus, they change color, in any given system??! Put a special name on them after they morph and you will be set? good luck-still a nice looking polyp
