New EVO 13.5 bought to replace my 10g clown FOWLR. Started today by applying window tint to the rear glass. More to follow.

Good luck! Currently have the tank and love it so far. If you have any questions let me know.
Amazing thanks!
I’m planning to plug the hole into chamber 2 and add media baskets. Floss in chamber 1 then Rowaphos>Purigen>Carbon. Existing live rock for filtration. m Eventually will have a jump proof lid and a Kessil A160. How do you have your chambers configured?

Chamber 1 is media basket with filter floss, chemipure blue, fluval biomax
Chamber 2 is protein skimmer and a pump to an algae reactor I have.
Chamber 3 hold my return pump (obviously), heater, pH meter, and ato sensor.

What protein skimmer do u use and does it fit in the lid? I am planning on getting one for mine aswell

First thing I did was get rid of the hideous lid haha. It won't fit with the lid unless you do some modifications. However I love this protein skimmer. It does a great job for it's price and I barely adjust it. I do have an auto top off though.

Yes I also wanted to get rid of the lid but for me it serves for a free ato, not exactly but it saves me alot of freshwater, only have to refill around half a gal of freshwater monthly thanks for the heads up! Might try replacing the lid once I start a job!

I’ve had large tanks, medium tanks, and nano tanks. The current one I have is a nano 13 gallon and is my favorite tank so far. I’ve got a fuzzy dwarf lionfish with some acans and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Some progress now….
Tank is up and running! Got myself confused with the cycling and knew nothing about skip cycling which is all I needed to do. Thanks to @brandon429 and others for sorting that out. Any cycling issues and Brandon is your go to…..
So I’ve tinted the rear wall, upgraded pump to Eheim 600 (stock hose too short so had to add me length) Added chamber baskets to 1 and 2 oh and blocked the chamber 2 hole. Chamber 1 is running floss and soft toy stuffing from Hobbycraft. 2 has Purigen, Phosguard and carbon. Only downside was that the light broke the second time I switched it on! Fluval have a replacement in the post though. Clowns are in and happy.

Nice looking black clowns, but if you decide on adding anything else I do not think it will work too well long term, this is because clownfish can be territorial after pairing, especially in a small tank like a 13 gal good luck and avoid GHA!

Thanks, no, no more fish. A shrimp and corals are the only plans. Also the female clown is very aggressive and attacks my hand whenever I put it in the tank

Haha I only have one clown so it is actually pretty nice to me and the clown goby in my tank what type of shrimp are you planning on getting, I have a cleaner shrimp that cleans my hand when I put it in the tank but it irrates corals when I feed them so I would be careful choosing your shrimp!

Yeah I have one in the display tank and he does annoy the corals. And the nems.

gotcha ty, tank is looking great, can't wait to see it fully going
Thanks! Still no replacement light from Fluval yet, been nearly a week since I sent it back. Not too much of an issue just now with just fish but if it had been stocked with coral this would be a very different situation. I’m now thinking a backup light for this tank and/or display isn’t a bad idea…..

If you need it, I have a stock fluval lid and light you can just have, I upgraded and won’t need it
