New finger leather has closed up

I put a finger leather in my tank 9 days ago, after the second day, it shred and then open up lovely but for the past 2 days its been completely closed up, a water test shows everything is fine and not moved since it was put in, ive read that they can stay closed for a bit if they dont need any extra nutrients, is this likely to be the case?

Corals, especially leathers take a bit of time to acclimate. Especially after a shed.
