New firefish

I just bought a new firefish for my new tank. Once acclimated I let it in the tank and it immediately darted to and behind my live rock. Question. I havent seen since. It's been roughly 24 hours. I have read that it could be in hiding due to stress. All my water parameters are spot on. Will it just eventually come out. I did drop a little food in this morning but still it did not show itself but my fire shrimp sure came out in a hurry. I introduced both to the tank yesterday. Thanks in advance

Give it some time. I've heard from many people that they don't see it for the first few days. Try looking at night to see if its alive and believe me they can get into extremely small crevices. Try to see if they might be under a rock as well

Yep he will come out eventually [emoji106]took mine a while to get used to everything and when he does come out he will extremely skid dish. Any movement outside the rank made mine dart back into his hole

Like others have said, give it some time. Approach the tank slowly if you do see him. It took some mysis shrimp to coax mine out. He would always hide for the first month, now he pretty much stays out all the time.

What other inhabitants in the tank? the less boisterous the neighbors more outgoing the fire fish will eventually be.
