New Fish arriving tomorrow- Quarantine plan

Hi everyone-
So I've got a red lined wrasse arriving tomorrow from Blue Zoo Aquatics. My DT is a RSR 425XL with only 2 Clowns, but I want to start this tank off on the right foot and Quarantine everything as best I can to prevent disease. My plan is to do the Tank Transfer method when the fish arrives.
The tanks are 20Ls and ill be running a heater, aquaclear filter with carbon in a bag and the sponge (sitting in my sump currently) I'm also going to have a sponge filter and a powerhead in there as well with an airstone. For the fish, I have the standard PVC elbows and because its a Halechoeres, a bowl of marine sand for it to bury itself in (which I will not reuse between tanks).

When the fish arrives, I'm going to adjust the fish tank salinity to that of the bag water, rather than drip acclimate. Then transfer the fish every 72 hours according to TTM, and dose Prazi-pro at the end. Then monitor him for an extended period of time before adding to the DT (not sure how long).

Ive also got an arsenal of medications, copper, Ich-X, antibiotics etc. in case they are needed.

What do people suggest I also do or change??

TTM only works for Ich. It does not work for Velvet, Brook, Uronema. That being said, handling fish a lot with nets can be hard on the fish's slime coat. I like these:

Plastic colander in lieu of a net to catch the fish (square ones work better than round ones):

I think you are overdoing the equipment for TTM of one red line wrasse in a 20 long.
Just the heater, powerhead, and airstone is enough for flow and oxygen. The sponge filter and aquaclear with carbon are unnecessary and will be tough to clean/sterilize/dry out between transfers.

Some folks will recommend two rounds of prazi instead of one, in order to get all the worms and eggs.

The acclimation looks great, and the sand will be a nice touch for the sand-sleeping wrasse.

Agreed. My plan is to TTM and monitor for the others, and modify the plan as needed, which is why I loaded up my fish medicine cabinet. I meant to get those strainers but I forgot....Thanks for the reminder!

Would you fresh water dip first? Or just put into the QT and match the salinity to the bag?
Weighing the pros and cons of stress vs. disease...

It is safe, yes. I have treated many Wrasse with Prazipro. I have never lost a fish during a prazi treatment.

I can't stress enough how important oxygenation is during the use of prazi. People that lose fish during prazi likely don't have enough oxygenation in the water column. The medication isn't harsh, however it has a heavy impact on the availability of oxygen.

A powerhead aimed at the surface with heavy surface agitation as well as an airpump with airstone is definitely necessary IMO.

Good to know it’s safe- this is what I need to know to make sure I’m on the right track.

I’ve got overkill I’m sure on the oxygenation front- powerhead, sponge filter, aquaclear and a separate air stone.

Glad to hear! Only have heard good things about them. I certainly have enough isopods, copepods and amphipods to last it a while.
