I’m about to start restocking my tank. I currently have a ywg and orchid dottyback in a 10 gallon qt until May. I have ordered a yellow kloe eye tang and a lineatus wrasse from DD to qt in a 55 gallon. I was thinking of also adding a blue spotted jawfish and a helfrichi firefish to qt with them.
Questions are would the jawfish and firefish get along with the ywg and dottyback in a 72 gallon DT? Also, will the jawfish be okay without sand for 6-8 weeks in qt?

I'd be more worried about the wrasse and the dottyback than the jawfish and the goby. The fire fish is pretty shy so it could also have a problem with the dottyback. I would keep the dottyback in QT and put the firefish in the DT first to let him get established. (most aggressive fish last is a good rule of thumb)

I'd put a small plastic container of sand in the QT for the jawfish.

Okay. Thanks for the info. Since the goby, dottyback, firefish, and jawfish are all similar shape and size I didn’t know if they would have an issue. Plus the goby and jawfish both like to burrow.

Blue spot jawfish come from cooler waters than most keep their reefs, so their lives are drastically shortened when kept in elevated temps.
Since I’ve made this post I have read that. Decided against getting one for that reason :( They are so cute but I don’t want to be responsible for killing the little fella.
