New fish from LFS

About to get a new fish from LFS and I am going to place it in my QT. I just finished a cupramine treatment to a couple of my fish and did a water change in the QT. I was wondering what people treat there new fish with right off the bat? Or, do most people observe them and see if there is a problem?

I always start copper right away. If you miss some subtle symptoms, you’ll be chasing after it, and with velvet, that doesn’t give you much time. I let the fish adjust for 3 days, then 30 days coppersafe, 2 prazi doses a week apart, then 2 weeks observation and a FW diagnostic dip.
