I have a juvenile Majestic Angelfish arriving tomorrow morning, I have my quarantine tank set up and running. I have a Sunburst Anthias in there since Friday morning (no chemical treatment) and he's doing well eating ... not a very active guy but he's eating and looks great. After my Angelfish starts eating well I plan to start Prazipro first and do a term on that and then I was going to treat with copper ( Cuprimine)to be exact. The Salifert test kit that arrived today shows .25 and .5 readings on the color chart and I know the therapeutic level is .35 to .5 for Cuprimine.....should I just try and keep it close to the .5 color circle? I am also assuming it's best to raise the level up slowly especially since the Angel a juvenile. Anything else I should do for a successful QT.... please throw it my way! Very much appreciated!

Just be sure to do two runs of prazipro 5-7 days apart with a water change in between. Then take about 5 days to bring the copper levels up. If you stay at or around .5 you should be just fine. Keep a close eye on the fish and watch for lethargy and lack of appetite when you start copper..... both are signs of copper intolerance.
