New Fish Help

Put in a new ornate wrasse into my tank about 30 minutes ago and the sailfin tang is aggressive towards it. Will this aggression end within a few days?

How long has it been in (the tang)?

Doubtful, I'd try removing the wrasse to an acclimation box, or better have a temp tank you could move the tang 2.

In a 65 the sailfin will harass any new fish. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes it doesn't. An aggressive fish can cause serious problems in a small tank, keeping fish from feeding, injuring them, making them more susceptible to disease and parasites.

A social acclimation box may help new fish get used to their surroundings without injury, but sometimes an aggressive fish is aggressive regardless.

Tangs in a small tank become aggressive. Remove the tang sooner rather than later.

If you change the rock work when you add a fish thst can help cut down on aggression.

Feeding before the new fish comes in also helps

3Rd adding more then one thing at a time can help cut sown aggression.

Keeping the tang full will do little or nothing to help with the aggression, nori included. You could rearrange rock work and catch the tang and take it on a ride in the car and acclimate again. The tang will always be a issue with new comers to your tank with it being 65g. Rehoming the tank is the best course of action.

Yes... On here. He made this username on here and was pretending to be me saying things about other forums and members. With some fish the only thing that limits that aggression is more space.
