New fish hiding question

I picked up two Purple Queen Anthias and a Midas Blenny from my LFS yesterday. They immediately hid in the rock and have not come out 24 hours later. I tried feeding some frozen this morning, but still hiding. My other fish are all over the tank swimming and are not the least bit aggressive. How long before I should be concerned and is there anything I can do to bring them out?

It can take several days (or longer) before fish become comfortable in a new environment.

Poking and prodding will only exacerbate the hiding

My LFS quarantines for me. In six years doing business with them I have never had an issue with fish or corals. I don't have room for another tank.

A healthy, fat fish can go weeks without eating.

Humblefish, good to hear. The blenny came out for a minute. His color went from mottled brown yesterday to yellow, so I guess he is not so stressed now.

Fish tend to come out more if there are more hiding places since they feel more safe.

My LFS once told me that Purple Queen Anthias spend a majority of their time hiding and peeking out of a little hole. Never had them so can't verify.

Healthy purple queens should be out in the water flow, not hiding. However, purple queens are one of the most difficult anthias species. Most don't eat when they come in, often need to be started off on live baby brine, need multiple feedings a day, and is a species that definitely does better in a large group of their own kind.
