I have a large wrasse, purple tang, 2 clownfish, chalk bass, and azure damsel. I have tried to anthias and sand sifting goby but all died with a few weeks. I have not had luck adding any more fish.
Tank is 90g. Been established for almost 2 years.
Am I stuck with just these 6 fish or should I try again to add? Fish recommendations?

Did the new fish you previously added die because of aggression or some other reason? How much Rock do you have in your tank?

Plenty of rock. I think aggression but can't be certain. Just know that adding new fish has been challenging. I leaning towards chronos, or damsels. Maybe even anthias again. Thoughts?

I like the idea of chromis. They are a resilient fish active open swimmers and should add a new dimension to your tank. And did I mention they're inexpensive. Putting multiples in and being active swimmers should help them in case there is an aggression issue.

I agree. How many do u recommend? I have read that folks start off with schools and end up with 1 after all the settling.

I've never really had the major squabbling issues that you see posted. If it was me I would do three.

I have 2 green Chromis in a 40 breeder and these guys fight like cats and dogs, all the time. You'd think they'd give up after a couple years but nope. I had a third, but he was so pestered he jumped out.
