New Fish Strange Swimming Pattern

Just got a new fish today and after getting him home and putting him in a QT tank noticed him swimming a little awkwardly. It maybe nothing but thought I should get a second opinion. He swims at sort of an upward diagonal or downward diagonal direction when swimming forward

Thanks for the reassurance! It's not that they were very expensive at all or my favorite fish in the world, I just want to make sure when I introduce them to their permanent tank that they're in good physical condition and unlikely to be carrying anything I don't want my tank infected with
