Hey y’all my YWMG has died and I am now left with 2 clownfish 1 chromi
1 filefish
1 yellow citron goby

1 electric clam
1 cleaner shrimp
1 green bristle starfish


I want to add a Midas blenny but I am deciding between that and a lawnmower blenny. Can I do both or is there one over the other I should add. I liked the orange fin tang it was a baby but was $70. I would be able to rehome the orange fin in a year or so.

How big is your tank? I'd think lawnmower and midas are likely to fight.

I would only add the lawnmower if you have an algae problem otherwise you will need to feed algae pellets. We love our Midas blenny. Tank size would be important to know if wanting more than one. I have had great luck mixing, but I 100 plus tanks.

All depends on tank size. The lawnmowers Ive had are turds and bully gobies or other blennies even in a six foot tank! Midas blennies are also way cuter

40 gallon the yellow goby bullies the file and clown.
I did have a Copperband and thought I had it on frozen still fed it love it died after 3 weeks. When he was there no one would fight he brought the calm. Lol

what are the dimensions? I’ve seen some 40Gs that are long but some that are cubes and some are… very unusual.

Dont add a tang to a 40 gallon though please, way to small for them

I had a CBB, got him to remove aiptasia. He was awesome until he cleaned up the aiptasia was also eating frozen and looked great. Didn’t see him for a day or two and found him dead. Don’t know if they need something else in their diet. Didn’t loose any other fish and he didn’t look to be starving.
