Hello my people hope everyone staying safe from covid-19...I wanted to get all your opinions about having my yellow tang along with a eibli dwarf angelfish that I recently just purchased today..they seem to get along for the most part but I catch my tang what it looks like shoving and backing his behind towards the angel once he swims around his area..will this change or will it become more aggressive??? Also wanted to know if I’m able to add more dry rock or live rock into my tank to make more homes/hidable places for the fish..will it be safe to add without a problem??

The Tang is a Surgeon Fish, using it’s ‘scalpel blades’ to attack / defend it’s territory / show who’s boss. What size tank (dimensions)?

I have a 55gal..I was told from the place I purchased it would be okay to place in tank

If the fish are small specimens you might be Ok for a while; a picture of how you have your rock work could help determine whether it is optimal. So I’m clear, we’re the fish introduced into the tank at the same time {or} the Tang added last? If so, the Tang could ease off the aggression within a day or two. If your other fish continues to get beat up, however, maybe drop an egg crate or clear acrylic divider of some sort in between them until the Tang chills out.
