New fish

Hello fellow reefers. I have a 30 gallon reef tank with 2 clowns that are paired. tank has been up for about a month and some change doing great. So today i went in to my local aquarium store and they had just got this wrasse in i think its a rainbow wrasse not sure but anyways hes much bigger than my clowns i know hes reef friendly and can be housed with the clowns but im just worried he might be a little to big for the tank ? Or he will be just fine ?

Can I get a better picture is it a melanurus?

Clowns can be... not so nice. I would be more worried for the wrasse. Even though he’s small, he can still jump so make sure you have a good lid. It should be fine tho (IMO)

They can grow to 5" in a couple of years so you might need to rehome it in the future. Nice fish and a favorite of many reefers.

Also what was ur b&w clown sold to u as? Mine was called black ice, but now only her face is orange.

to be completely honest with you i know my orange female is a misbared clownthe other black and white i have no clue and thank you for the information yes beautiful fish witch is why i had to get it glad to know he will be ok. I do plan on bigger tank in future though!
