Hello,

We are testing a simple add on that will allow you to create better sales posts within the selling forums for livestock and for drygoods. You will only be able to use paypal for this system. Otherwise you will just create a for sale thread using the old method.

YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SELL ONE TYPE OF ITEM PER SALE THREAD. You can sell multiples of the same item in the same thread but you must create a new thread per unique item.

I put together a little pictorial showing you how to create a new sales thread.

1)
Within the selling forum you will select the Post New Thread button as usual.

I like the direction you are pushing towards for a proper sales system here on R2R. That's great for the community here, Finding specifically what we need, easier to search for items, and easier to see items listed for sale ( Rather than example: "My Breakdown Sale Thread" ).

Thoughts & Idea's:
Maybe if we are able to list multiple sales threads(Since they are split up item by item) all in one shot. ( as in: Creating a new thread, having option to list multiple items, which creates them in the correct syntax; One thread per item).

That's coming trust me. This is just a simple something while we wait! ;)

Will make it easier to buy but is that an additional 3% charge beyond paypal? So 6% total?

There is no charge to use it. There is however an option to donate a percentage of the sale to the forum. This is an option though. :)

Rev, the option to give a percentage back to the website, what is the format? 5.00 = 5% or 0.05 = 5%?
