So I made the jump into saltwater and I bought a used 120 gallon show tank. I'm currently running a Marineland c-530 filter, but my sump and skimmer will be delivered on Friday. I just added the water and salt tonight. At what point do I add the live sand and live rock? The live rock is double bagged from the store, will this last until tomorrow if I need to wait? Thanks for the help and I'm sure I'll have many more questions!

Tommorow should be fine as long as the bags aren't freezing or overheating. Just make sure to have something like a powerhead adding oxyygen to the water in the tank so the bacteria on the rock and process and multiply!
The guide SPR posted is full of information and is a great read while you get started.

Welcome to the reef, best advice and people are nice.

First salt tanks are always cool, do lots of reading on how to proceed like mentioned and it will be great. Drop a hello in meet and greet so we all can say hi
