Ammonia 0 ppm 20200804_123139.jpg

He goes camo and hides if spooked and at night but otherwise its just the back lower half of his body going white. He seems very healthy eating fine and swimming and exploring

sounds normal ,would like to see pic of lower back white though, did not see him in video,

Sorry I didnt even realize I posted a video just meant to post the pic..realizing I wrote that wrong too its not the lower back. His head and fins are normal just the white you see from gills to spot

normal color changing ,any probs ,come back to here for help, sounds ok in my opinion :)

Sounds pretty normal. Mine took about 6 months to stop being a skittish baby. Love him though

Thanks man I appreciate it. Foxface are definitely my favorite saltwater fish. He's really entertaining to watch. There is only two other fish in there one being a small valentini about the same size. He follows the valentini everywhere has since day one (no nipping, valentini doesnt mind at all)

If the valentini is similar to my blue spotted, he will limit your choice of corals to mostly softies.
He is the tank star though.
Rabbit is best fish for algae control.
He'll get 6 or 7 inches in a couple of years.

Good to know. Im gonna stick with a fish only tank for a while until I learn a lot more and get more proficient. I plan to bump to a 180 over winter for his growth. My lfs convinced me to buy and start with a nano tank which was a nightmare and to limited so i bumped up quick.

As you know, he'll fit better in the 180.
They get skittish in a 75, at 6".

My valentini and foxface were best friends until valentini died
