New frag/ quarantine tank set up

Hopefully I’ll be receiving a new tank this coming week. I am uncertain of which types I want to run. I’ve always been a fan of the Orphek But I’ve heard good things from the kessil AP9x.
The tank is going to be 15 inches deep

Is it a coral frag tank or a coral quarantine tank? They should be treated differently imo

I probably would get some sort of light that could blanket the tank. Either multiple led bars, t5 bars, or an led panel. I think the visual benefits of a kessil are not needed on a frag or coral QT tank. If it is a coral QT tank, a cheap light will suffice. Some quanta lights could work.

Get some high quality used stuff that is as close to what you run in your display as possible. Ugly is even fine. This is where 4 bulb T5s from the local marketplace for cheap work great, black boxes.... stuff like that.

Run whatever old ugly fixture you have laying around. low even spread would be best.
